Stone Mountain Park, one of the most popular attractions in the United States, hosts over four million visitors annually and is home to the largest exposed piece of granite in the world. North Atlanta schools are part of the excellent DeKalb Unified School District. This district serves over 100,000 students and its mission is to give each child an excellent education. There are currently 84 elementary schools and 19 middle schools. These schools are very technologically advanced and provide students with many educational resources.
